We told our friend to make sure he listens to what is being said. He told us that the cobe elder would have his talk put together in a few weeks. That this would give him time to put together the talk in a way the brothers and sisters would understand. Can't wait to hear the dirty excuses they will give since last month their local needs were all about donating more since they have no cash reserves. I wonder if the congregation will even put those two together. Probably not!

Do you or did you experience too much intrusion into your personal life by the elders in your congregation?
by UnshackleTheChains ini ask this question because i have personally experienced first hand the control and intrusion into my personal life by the elders at our hall; and for virtually trivial things or non issues!
what's more, i regularly hear of individuals moving to other halls because they were stumbled by the thought police....er, i mean these elders.. have you had any such experience?
have your elders been a bit ott over trivialities?.

What a loaded question. LOL. We had them hauling in most of the congregation, individually questioning them if anyone knew of any reason why we weren't attending the meetings. They even called brothers up in Wawa, On which is six hours away from where we use to live asking them if we had said anything that was negative against the org. We didn't even know them. Just processed their venison for them. Then they told all individuals to not talk to us if they saw us.
We were followed a few times while out in service by this one idiot elder and his wife who never liked doing service(Sean and Lisa of the Elmira congregation). They would drive past our studies as we were walking into their homes. I would semi jokingly ask Sean if he was following us and he said they were on their way to their houses that they cleaned windows for. I would ask but why would you clean windows in your suit. He would walk away. They had just come out of the field service arrangement and then follow us to our calls.
Then we caught them sitting outside of our lane for five hours waiting for us to come and unlock the gates. That was the morning they df'd my husband.

I've never heard of the elders making a warning from the platform weeks before a change is to happen. He was also surprised so I told him I would post here to find out if anyone has heard anything about this.
Their local needs last month was about not having any cash reserves and that they needed more money. That their bank account was empty and their hall needed more donations. Our friend said he never heard anything like it. I told him I would call him back if I hear anything from anyone here.

Glen had no problem complimenting the sisters especially in front of his much younger wife who also worked for the legal team. We didn't think she was much of a looker. Her hands were full looking after him in the end. I don't miss his bow ties or white shiny shoes. -

What a joke! In Elmira, On congregation, there was a kid (we'll call him Tom L.) who was told by the cobe ( we'll call him Rawd M.) that he could get his millwright education(four years for starters) but to keep it quiet. The kid told everyone what the cobe told him not to do. Nevertheless, he was an ms and later elder while he was getting his education. His friend (we'll call Andy) was told not to pursue a higher education which he didn't and became an elder as well. I wonder if Andy even asks himself why Thom could get his education but not himself. It depends on the rest of the elders and how much you kiss up to them, I guess. -

Why do you say they are jewish festivals? Leviticus 23:2 reads: Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are MY feasts.
So these feasts are gods feasts for starters and that's what I told two joho's when they came to my door. That we were to keep the feasts forever. It shall be a statute forever in all our dwellings throughout our generations(verse 21).
Acts 18:21 shows Paul having to travel to Jerusalem to keep the feast. Paul also stated for us to keep the feast in 1Corinthians 5:8: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Ask the jw's if their bible has a cross reference scripture to 1 Corinthians 5:8 and it will show them Exodus 12:15. (That's if they tell you the law was done away with). The feasts were part of the law. They will say the law is done away with yet Matthew 5:17,18 says until heaven and earth passes away, not one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Heaven and earth hasn't passed away yet. The CO and his wife told us they weren't familiar with this scripture. They had just come back from gilead. You can show tons of scriptures on the law and they still will not listen. It just goes on and on in a circle with these people.

My brother, Timothy had passed away at eleven years of age. I was ten. A few years later, my mother took her life. This cult is responsible for so many lives that were taken needlessly. I feel along with the pedophile cases, there should be class action lawsuits against people dying needlessly as well as dfing, marking and stalking. All these cult practices should be ended once and for all time.
